Apparently, somebody had taken over my friend's yahoo account. He was posing as my friend and messaging everybody on the list. He got to me and told me to check out his pictures that he had uploaded to the net. He gave me the geocities link. Since geocities is owned by yahoo, I had no suspicions. It told me to log in first to view the pics. Most places do that so again, I had no suspicions. I logged in and it didn't work. It was shortly after that my yahoo account was jacked. I was getting e-mails to my other account asking why I was being so rude and dirty to people. I got my account back and the phishing page was shut down but it cost me a lot of time, apologies, $20 for yahoo service, & about 2 weeks of worry because I couldn't remember what personal info I had in my messages. Sometimes phishing scams are harder to spot than others.
